PickyStory provides a public application using the Shopify API (“Platform”) for merchants operating on Shopify (“Merchant”), promoting sales campaigns in the store and across marketing channels (“Services”) aimed for the Merchants’ customers (“Customer”). PickyStory’s website provides information on the Platform and Services and enables users to contact PickyStory when they wish to do so (“Website”). 

Using our Platform via your Device

Users can access our Platform and Website on a device (“Device”). A Device is any computer used to access the Platform or Website, including without limitation a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or other consumer electronic device. This Privacy Policy governs your access to the Platform and Website, regardless of how you access it, and by using our Platform and Website you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and other uses described in this Privacy Policy.

Collecting Information

Please note that the scope of this Privacy Policy is limited only to information collected by PickyStory through your use of its Platform. Some information may be automatically collected, and some is collected when you interact with our Platform. If you choose to login to the Platform as a Merchant, you will be required to register with your Shopify store account. We will be provided with access to information available on your Shopify store account and all in accordance with Shopify’s privacy settings.

If you wish to request a demo of the Services, we will collect your email address, name, and the monthly order volume in order to schedule a call with you to provide you more information.

Becoming a Partner 

If you wish to become a partner of PickyStory’s Affiliate Program, we will collect your email address, name, website, company name, country, and your password, in order to contact you with further details. 

PickyBot Chat 

If you wish to contact us via the Website, you will be able to do so via an online chat bot. We will collect the information transmitted via the online chat bot to assure sufficient assistance regarding the Services. 

Register to Receive Marketing Materials

If you wish to receive marketing materials from PickyStory, we will collect your email address and your consent for sending you marketing materials.

Customer’s transactions 

If your Customers are utilizing the Services, we might collect information on the transactions they have made using the Services, their name, email address, and their address. To the extent required by applicable privacy law, you are responsible for ensuring that all necessary privacy notices are provided to the Customer, and unless another legal bases set forth in the applicable privacy law supports the lawfulness of the processing, that any necessary Customer’s consent to the processing are obtained, and for ensuring that a record of such consent is maintained. Should such consent be revoked by the Customer, you are responsible for communicating the fact of such revocation to PickyStory.

If a Merchants decides to remove PickyStory from the store, all analytical data collected will be immediately deleted. 

Opt In or Opt Out

If, at any time, you would like to stop using our Service or opt out of a feature, or stop receiving relevant materials from us, you may notify us by writing to [email protected]. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our databases and servers, although we will always make reasonable efforts to do so upon your request.

This Platform and Website may provide links to other websites. Please be aware that these other websites are not covered by our Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices exercised by other providers of products or services, advertisers or other websites, companies or individuals, which are not owned or controlled by PickyStory. Data Security

We deploy industry standard, or better measures to ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of Personal Information we process. We maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards, and test and update these periodically. In the event of a security breach, we will take all reasonable action to minimize any harm, including with regard to notifications. Generally, PickyStory does not retain information longer than necessary to provide its Services and for its reasonable business and lawful needs.
